The main things Google cut to get the price down to $500 are the RAM (Pixel 10 has 12GB) and the processor. For example, I always parse foo * bar as a pointer declaration if it appears at the beginning of a statement, since I never write a meaningless multiplication. If it’s inside an expression (e.g. a = foo * bar), then it’s multiplication, because declarations aren’t allowed inside expressions.
