The primary signal is desiredSize on the controller. It can be positive (wants data), zero (at capacity), negative (over capacity), or null (closed). The last component I didn’t really look into (although I’m kinda having second thoughts about that) is the new authentication generators. Rails 8 ships with a built-in authentication generator which is a bit of a game changer for smaller projects.
